BUTTER GARLIC MUSHROOM FRY

Mushrooms are rich in the B vitamins: riboflavin, niacin, and pantothenic acid. The combination helps protect heart health. Riboflavin is good for red blood cells. Niacin is good for the digestive system and for maintaining healthy skin.

Mushrooms don’t just taste nice. They also pack a nutritional punch as they are loaded with vitamins, promote a healthy immune system and boost your bone health. That’s why they are considered as a superfood. And for those looking for weight loss benefits, mushrooms contain no cholesterol or gluten either.

INGREDIENTS

  • Olive oil – 2 tsp
  • Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Button mushroom – 1 pkt
  • Finely minced garlic – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper pwdr – as per taste
  • Soya sauce – 1/2 tsp [ optional ]
  • Salt to taste
  • Finely chopped parsley / coriander leaves – 1 tbsp

METHOD

Rinse the  button mushrooms a couple of times in water and then drain well.

Pat dry with kitchen napkin .

Chop the mushrooms stem and let it be whole , if you want you can chop it into 2 or 4  .

Heat a broad pan with olive oil + butter .

Spread a layer of mushrooms and leave it untouched for 5 mins on medium low flame .

After 5 mins.

Stir fry till all moisture evaporates.

Now add garlic + salt + pepper and stir fry for a min .

Finally add the soya sauce and give a nice mix .

Off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves .

Serve immediately.
