EASY AND SIMPLE KACCHI HALDI KI SABJI/FRESH TURMERIC RECIPE

Easy Kachchi Haldi Ki Sabzi /FRESH TURMERIC SABJI

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 gms Fresh turmeric /kachchi haldi
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds / jeera
  • ½ tsp or as per taste chili powder
  • 2 tbsp boiled green peas [ optional ]
  • Salt
  • ½  cup curd

METHOD

Scrape off the skin of fresh turmeric with a knife .

Grate with a thick grater .

Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.

Add jeera and let it crackle .

Add the turmeric and mix well .

Stir fry  on medium heat for about 5 to 6 minutes till it softens .

Add boiled green peas and mix well .

Add salt and chilli powder and mix well.

Add beaten curd and mix well  .

Keep stirring till it  thickens and ghee floats .

Off the flame .

Serve with rice or any Indian bread.
