GHIYA OATS CUTLET WEIGHTLOSS DIET RECIPE / BOTTLE GOURD OATS CUTELT / LAUKI KEBAB

BENEFITS OF BOTTLE GOURD / GHIYA

  1. Ghiya reduces stress and good for the heart. It treats sleeping disorders.
  2. It makes for  the loss of water content and also gives a cooling effect to our body during the hot summer days.
  3. It is good for digestion and treats constipation.
  4. Great for a good healthy body and mind. So, do adopt it in your lifestyle to experience all the good changes in life.
  5. Oats are rich in fiber and antioxidants and low in cholesterol + fats . It benefits weight loss also, as they are high in fiber and keeps you full for a longer period of time.

INGREDIENTS

  • Grated ghiya – 2 cup
  • Oats flour / besan  – 5 to 6 tbsp
  • Rice flour – 1 tbsp
  • Curd – 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic green chilli paste – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli pwdr – ½  tsp or as per taste
  • Roasted jeera pwdr – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala pwdr – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Chaat masala pwdr – 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves – ¼ tbsp
  • Salt to taste

METHOD

Dry roast the oats and powder it .

Grate the ghiya and squeeze the excess juice . [ don’t throw the juice , either drink or use in dough / curry / soups etc ]

Take a large bowl with all ingredients , combine all the ingredients together forming a dough.Wet your hands if the mixture is dry .

Divide the mixture in to small balls. Flatten it into round shape .

Heat a nonstick pan , drizzle little oil and roast cutlets from both the sides on low to medium flame for  till golden brown , crisp and cooked from inside . Serve hot with any chutneys or  ketchup..
