HEALTHY OVERNIGHT SOAKED OATS RECIPE FOR WEIGHTLOSS

A make ahead breakfast for busy mornings.
A bowl of overnight oats might help to strengthen your immune system. The inclusion of beta-glucan in oats aids in increasing the activity of our body’s white blood cells (WBCs), which are responsible for defending us from sickness. Because oats are high in zinc and selenium, they help fight infections.
Chia seeds add fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, improve digestion, and help create a creamy texture. Cinnamon is a healthy anti-inflammatory spice and add warm flavor. Natural sweetener keeps these oats refined sugar-free.
Overnight oats offer a range of health benefits, due to their rich fibre and protein content. They also contain a number of vitamins and minerals, some of which include manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc. This makes overnight oats healthy for your gut, as well as for overall health and well-being.
INGREDIENTS
- Oats – ½ cup [ I have used quaker ]
- Milk – ½ cup [ regular milk or plant based ]
- Fresh curd / yoghurt – ¼ [ you can replace with milk ]
- Any sweetner as per taste – 1 tbsp [ maple / honey / dates etc ]
- Chia seed – 2 tsp
- Cardamom pwdr – a pinch or vaninna essence few drops
- Cinnamon pwdr – ¼ tsp
- Pinch of salt
Fresh fruits/ dry fruits/ seeds /berries – for toppings
PREPARATION
- Take oats + chia seeds + milk + curd + syrup + essence /cardamom pwdr + cinnamon pwdr in a bowl and mix well.
- Keep aside for 10 mins.
- Again mix well , cover and refrigerate for few hrs or overnight .
METHOD
In the morning , remove and mix well .
Add milk as required to adjust the consistency .
Once done top it with any toppings and serve chilled .
