HEALTHY QUINOA OATS DOSA

Quinoa is high in fiber, plus several vitamins and minerals that are low in many people’s diets. Regularly eating quinoa can help you meet your needs for magnesium, potassium, iron, fiber, and folate, a vitamin that’s especially important during pregnancy due to its role in fetal growth and development .

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1 cup oats
  • ½ cup chana dal
  • ½ cup urad dal
  • 1 tsp methi dana
  • 1 tsp ginger, chilli , curry leaves paste
  • Salt to taste

METHOD

Mix Quinoa, oats, chana dal, urad dal, methidana in a large bowl.

Wash several times thoroughly.

Soak atleast 5-7 hours.

Drain the water and grind in a smooth paste.

Allow to ferment for 5 hrs else keep atleast 1 hour after grinding.

Add Ginger, chili, curry leaves paste and salt.

Mix nicely.

Heat dosa tawa. Spread a thin dosa. Drizzle little ghee to make it more crisp.

Roast it until golden brown colour as shown in the video.

Quinoa dosa is ready to serve .

Serve with any side accompaniments.
