HOW TO COOK BROWN RICE
INGREDIENTS
- Daawat brown rice – 1 cup
- Water 5 cup
- Salt – 1 tsp
METHOD
Wash and soak the rice for 2 hrs
Drain and transfer the soaked rice into a big pan with 5 cup of water.
Cook on medium flame by covering the pan half with a lid . [be careful sometimes the water spills ].Add salt .[ cook rice with salt .Once the rice is cooked – check by pressing the grain there should be no grits ] – 25 mins approximately.

Else you can use a strainer to remove excess water .
Once done fluff the rice.
