JAMUN KALA KHATTA POPSICLES RECIPE | HOW TO MAKE JAMUN/JAVA PLUM POPSICLES | KALA KHATTA CHUSKI RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 250  gm Jamuns / Black Plum
  • 1 cup water or use coconut water
  • 1/2  tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1/4  tsp Back Salt or as per taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper pwdr
  • 15 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 OR  3 tbsp Sugar/Jaggery Powder
  • 1 or 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Sabja soaked in ½ cup water Or use plain 1/2 cup water

METHOD

Take 1 cup water + the jamuns + jaggery + jeera pwdr + chaat masala pwdr + black salt + black pepper pwdr + mint leaves .

Boil till jamuns turn mushy and pit separates for 4 to 5 mins .

Mash the pulp and strain the mixture .

Add the lemon juice and mix well .Taste and adjust ingredients .

Add the soaked sabja or 1/2 cup water and mix well .Taste and adjust ingredients

Pour in popsicle moulds and freeze .

Once done serve immediatley .

NOTES- adjust spices as per taste .
