SEVAI BHAJIYA / LEFTOVER SEVAI PAKORA / VERMICELLI FRITTERS

INGREDIENTS

  • Cooked vermicelli or leftover sevai upma – 2 cup
  • Besan – ½ cup
  • Rice flour – 1 tbsp
  • Ajwain – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric – a pinch
  • Chaat masala – ½ tsp
  • Green chilli garlic ginger paste – 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves – ¼ cup finely chopped
  • Baking soda – ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – 4 to 5 tbsp or as needed
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Cheese if needed [ optional ]

METHOD

I have used leftover sevai upma –

Discard the green chilli / curry leaves etc from the upma.

Now add all the ingredients one by one as shown in video and mix well.

Add water and make a medium consistency  mixture .

Heat oil in a deep pan .

Drop in the sevai batter as shown in video .

Stir and fry till golden and crisp on medium flame .

Drain and remove on absorbent paper.

Serve hot with any chutney / ketchup
