Sweet banana poha

                                      SWEET BANANA POHA [ NO COOK RECIPE]

SWEET BANANA POHA – here I have used sugar

INGREDIENTS

  • Poha – 2 cup
  • Sugar / jaggery pwdr – 5 or 6 tbsp as per taste
  • Freshly grated coconut – 6 or 8 tbsp or more
  • Ripe banana – 1 or as needed
  • Cardamom pwdr – a generous pinch
  • Cashew + raisins – few
  • Ghee – 1 tbsp or more for flavour

PREPARATION

Fry the cashew + raisins in the ghee .

METHOD

Clean , wash , rinse the poha.

Drain the water , sprinkle enough water and keep it covered for 3 – 4 minutes till it becomes soft and absorbs the water.

Now add the grated coconut /jaggery + sugar + cardamom pwdr.

Add the cashew + raisins with ghee

Mix well with clean hands and serve

***Here we can serve it without bananas , by mashing the bananas well with the poha.

OR

Top it with chopped bananas and serve it .

OR

Mash the banana and mix it with the poha and serve. [ V used to make small ladoos and eat ]

NOTES

  1. I have used thick poha .
  2. U can also use red poha.
  3. Adding ghee enhances the flavour.
  4. Instead of sugar u can use grated jaggery.
