Tandoori sWeet corn recipe

TANDOORI CORN RECIPE /TANDOORI BHUTTA

INGREDIENTS

  • 2  Sweet corns
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 1 Tsp ginger garlic Paste
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric
  • ¼ tsp roasted Cumin Powder
  • ¼ Tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp or as per taste chilli powder
  • 2 tsp Mustard Oil or regular oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • A pinch of tandoori colour
  • Butter as needed
  • Chaat masala +  lemon juice as needed

NOTE – Instead of using so many masalas , you can use Everest tandoori masala .

METHOD

Boil the corn in enough water with little salt for 12 to 15 mins.You can even pressure cook upto 2 whistles .

Drain and remove .wipe it with a napkin and keep aside.

Take a bowl , add all the other ingredients one by one and make a thick marinade .

Apply the marinade all over the boiled corn . Here we can also give coal smoke effect – Paneer angara recipe

Cover and keep aside for minimum 30 mins or more in fridge .

Take the marinated corn and keep it over direct flame using a stand .

Rotate and roast it , till you see black spots all over .While roasting apply butter all over .

Once done  remove and apply some butter.

Serve immediately by sprinkling some chaat masala + drizzle lemon juice.
