Spring onion paratha recipe

                                                                       SPRING ONION PARATHA

Ingredients

  • 2  cup wheat flour .
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic green chilli paste .
  • 1/2 cup very very finely chopped spring onions (even other onion is ok).
  • 1 cup very finely chopped spring onion greens [it enhances the  flavor ]
  • 2 tbsp very finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Salt as per taste .
  • Chaat masala  – 1/2 tsp.
  • 1/4 tsp amchur  pwdr .
  • 1/2 tsp roasted jeera pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp ajwain
  • 1 tsp oil for kneading
  • Ghee or oil to apply on the paratha  while cooking.

METHOD

Mix all the ingredients well with clean hands.

Sprinkle water as needed and knead into a dough.

Be careful while kneading as the veges leave water .

You have to make the paratha immediately  as the onion leaves water.

Now divide into small small balls.

Roll into small round parathas by dusting dry flour.

Place it on hot Tava.

Cook it on both the sides by applying oil/ghee.

Always serve paratha hot.

Apply little  butter while serving.

Goes well  with any chutney /pickle /Tomato ketchup / curd for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
