CAPSICUM PEANUT SABJI RECIPE/MUNGFALI SHIMLA MIRCH SABZI | PEANUT CAPSICUM SABZI

Bell peppers are rich in vitamin C and thus help in many functions like immune function, wound healing, and collagen synthesis. In addition to vitamin C, capsicum is also rich in vitamin A, Vitamin A is important to support the immune system and reproduction.

Peanuts help prevent heart disease by lowering cholesterol levels. They can also stop small blood clots from forming and reduce your risk of having a heart attack or stroke. Foods with a lot of protein can help you feel full with fewer calories.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Big green Capsicum
  • 1 or 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • Few  Curry Leaves
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Pinch of Hing
  • ¼  tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • ¼  tsp  Garam Masala OR ½ tsp kitchen king masala
  • 1 tsp or as per taste  Red Chiili powder
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanut powder

METHOD

Heat oil in a pan.

Add cumin seeds and let it sizzle .

Add onion, curry leaves and stir fry till translucent.

Lower the flame and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chilli powder.Stir fry for a min.

Add  capsicum + salt, and mix well . There is no need to add water. Keep stirring occasionally.

Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes , add peanut powder and mix well.

Cover and again cook for 3 to 4 minutes .

Once done off the flame and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves .
