CABBAGE SABJI IN COOKER BACHELOR RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Chopped cabbage – 3 cup
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Jeera – 1 tsp
  • Onion chopped – 1
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Tomato chopped – 1
  • Red chilli pwdr – 1 tsp or as per taste
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Coriander pwdr – 1 tsp
  • Kitchen king masala – ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar – ¼ tsp [ optional ]
  • Water – 3 or 4 tbsp

METHOD

Heat oil in a cooker and crackle the jeera.

Add onion + green chilli and stir fry till translucent .

Add ginger garlic paste and stir fry till raw smell leaves.

Add tomato + sugar + salt and cook till oil separates.

Add the masala pwdrs and mix well.

Add the cabbage and mix well.

NOTE –  we can also add potato or green peas .

Stir and cook for a min.

Drizzle 3 to 4 tbsp water and pressure cook upto 1 whistle.

Once done let the pressure release.

Open and give a mix .

Garnish with coriander leaves .

Serve hot as a side dish for rice or roti .
