CHOCOLATE PANI PURI

FOR CHOCOLATE PURI

  • 12 pani-puri  
  • ½ cup roughly chopped dark chocolate
  • 2 tsp Butter to melt chocolate

Take the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute, mix well till there are no lumps.

Make holes in puris . Now carefully dip each puri in the melted chocolate, and coat the puri well from all sides, remove it with the help of a fork and place it on foil.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes till it sets.

FOR FILLING

  • 4  betel leaf( paan ka patta)
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice-cream
  • 2 tsp saunf

METHOD

Blend betel leaf +  saunf  + vanilla ice-cream till smooth and refrigerate till use . It should be chilled .

Once set, break each puri from the centre

Add Tutti fruity / Jelly / chopped roasted nuts /sprinklers

 in each puri.

While serving pour the chilled filling and serve OR place each puri over shot glasses filled with filling  and serve immediately.

VARIATIONS

We can use different types of chilled  filling like rasmalai syrup or rose milk or any ice creams or thandai or masala milk or any chilled milkshakes etc
