PAPAYA JUICE RECIPE/ HOW TO MAKE PAPAYA SMOOTHIE
Papaya is an extremely healthy tropical fruit. Papayas are high in fiber and contain many important nutrients like vitamin C and vitamin A. Papaya is packed with antioxidants that can reduce inflammation, fight disease and help us look younger.
Eating Papaya on an empty stomach is considered to be an ideal choice in the morning as it cleans the toxins from the body and promotes bowel movements. Papaya has antioxidants which fight against free radicals and prevent cell damage. It is also known to lower the level of bad cholesterol
The presence of vitamin C, potassium, antioxidants, and fibre in papaya helps keep the arteries healthy which promotes blood flow. This increased circulation is known to reduce the cholesterol levels in the body that helps reduce the risk of heart diseases and stroke
The potassium present in the fruit is a huge supporter of kidney health.It cleans out the toxins deposited in the kidneys and reduced the accumulation of uric acid in the blood. Payapa seeds also play an important part in keeping the kidney healthy.
PAPAYA JUICE/SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup of sweet papaya pieces.
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice.
- sugar as required depending on the sweetness of the fruit .
- pinch of black pepper powder.
- 1/2 cup cold water .
- few cherries and papaya pieces for garnishing. [ OPTIONAL ]
METHOD
Blend papaya pieces, 1tsp fresh lemon juice, sugar (optional) to adjust taste, pinch of black pepper powder, 1/2 cup cold water in blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth.
Garnish and serve .
Note:
- Use chilled ingredients so that there is no need to add ice cubes, as ice cubes will change the texture of the juice by making it watery.
- Instead of sugar we can use honey.
- For rich taste use condensed milk .
- Y not blend with a scoop of vanilla cream.
