PATA GOBHI MATAR KI SABJI / CABBAGE GREEN PEAS RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
- Cabbage finely chopped – 4 cup
- Fresh green peas – 1 cup
- Onion thinly sliced – 1 big
- Tomato finely chopped – 1 big
- Oil – 2 or 3 tbsp
- Ginger grated or crushed – 2 tsp
- Green chilli – 2 or
- leaves – few
- Jeera – 1 tsp
- Kitchen king masala – ½ tsp or garam masala pwdr – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli pwdr – ½ tsp
- Coriander pwdr – ½ tsp
- Jeera pwdr – ¼ tsp
- Sugar – ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
METHOD
Finely chop the cabbage and keep aside.
Heat a pan with oil , add jeera and let it crackle .
Add onion and stir fry till golden .
Add ginger + green chilli and stir fry till raw smell leaves .
Add tomato + salt and stir fry .
Cover and cook till oil separates .
Stir in between.
Add all the masala powder + sugar and stir fry for few seconds .
Add the peas and mix well.
Add the cabbage , mix well and stir fry .
Cover and cook on low flame till done .[ 12 to 15 mins]
Stir in between .
Once done add coriander leaves , give a mix and off the flame .
Serve as side dish .
NOTES
- Adjust masalas as per taste.
- While cooking if you feel the cabbage is dry , there is no moisture to cook ahead, then sprinkle 2 or 3 tbsp water.
