EASY RESTAURANT STYLE BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken tikka small pieces – 300 grms
  • Onion – 1
  • Tomato – 3 medium [ not sour ]
  • Cashew – 5
  • Oil + butter – 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • Red chilli pwdr – 1 ½   tsp or as per taste
  • Kitchen king masala – 1 ½  tsp
  • Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  • Jeera pwdr – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar – 2  tsp
  • Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp
  • Kasoori methi crushed – 1 tbsp
  • Fresh cream – 4 tbsp

NOTE – You can add  tandoori food colour for restaurant kind colour .

CHICKEN TIKKA RECIPE – Chicken tikka recipe

PREPARATION

  1. Chop the tomatoes into small cubes .
  2. Take tomatoes + onion + 2 ½ cup water + cashews and cook the tomatoes on medium flame for 10 mins.
  3. Off the flame and let it cool .
  4. Transfer  with the tomatoes + cashew + onion  + water in which it was cooked and blend into fine puree using mixer or blender .[ DON’T ADD extra water  while grinding ]
  5. Take chilli pwdr + kitchen king masala + turmeric + coriander pwdr + kasoori methi in a bowl . Add 1/4 cup water and mix well .

METHOD

Heat oil + butter in a pan .

Add ginger garlic paste and stir fry till raw smell leaves .

Add masala paste and stir fry till oil releases

Add the puree and mix well .

Let it come to a boil .

Add ketchup + sugar + salt and mix well . [ IMP TIP – taste and chk the gravy and adjust sugar /ketchup /kasoorimethi accordingly for the restauarant kind taste ]

Bring it to a boil on medium flame .

Add paneer cubes and give a gentle mix.

Simmer for a min , mix and off the flame .

Finally add the fresh cream and give a nice mix .

Serve with any Indian bread items or rice items .

NOTE – Same recipe you can try with paneer or mixed fried veges , instead of chicken piece add paneer or veges  ]
