CURRY LEAVES SOUTHINDIAN BREAKFAST ITEMS

Curry leaves can be beneficial for your skin, hair and overall health. Apart from adding them to the tadkas of your food, you can also chew fresh curry leaves every morning on an empty stomach.

Mostly we add in tadkas, but kids usually discard the leaves. Also we don’t chew the leaves well to get the benefits of it .So from this recipe we can make the kids get the benefits of curry leaves completely .

We can use curry leaves powder or curry leaves paste in batters of idli , dosa, appam, appe etc  and doughs of chapati , roti theplas, pooris , parathas etc. Alo we can add to rice recipes or sevai recipes .We can also just mix 1 or 2 tsp to chaas / butter milk .

Curry leaves are a rich source of vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin B2, calcium, and iron, apart from a heavy distinctive odor and pungent taste. It helps in the treatment of dysentery, diarrhea, diabetes, morning sickness, and nausea by adding curry leaves to your meals.

Instead of curry leaves we can use moringa leaves powder also
