RAW BANANA GRAVY IN GREEN MASALA SINDHI RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Raw banana – 4
  • Fresh coriander leaves – 1 cup
  • Green chilli – 2 or 3 or as per taste
  • Garlic – 14 [ important ingredient ]
  • Raw mango – ½ cup chopped
  • Turmeric pwdr – ¼ tsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

METHOD

Peel and chop banana into big chunks .Soak in water and keep aside .

Make coarse paste of coriander leaves + garlic + green chilli + raw mango .

Heat oil in a cooker.

Add green masala paste and stir fry till oil oozes.

Add salt + turmeric + banana and mix well .

Add 1 ½  or 2 cup water and mix.

Pressure cook upto 2 whistles.

Once the pressure releases , open and serve hot .

NOTE

  1. Instead of raw mango use 1 tbsp amchur powder
  2. Same recipe instead of banana we can use potato / besan tikki etc
