QUICK MUTTON RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Mutton – ½ Kg [ with or without bones ]
  • Potato big cubes – 1 [ optional ]
  • Chilli powder – 1 or 1 ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 ½  tsp
  • Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Fennel / saunf seeds powder – 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Tomato – 1
  • Curd – ¼
  • Onion thinly sliced  – 2
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves few
  • Pepper – ¾ or 1 tsp or as per taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnish
  • Salt

METHOD

Clean , cut , wash , rinse the mutton .Drain the excess water .

Take all the ingredients as shown in the video and pressure cook upto 5 whistles till the mutton is cooked. No need to add water .

Heat oil in a pan and add onion + curry leaves and stir fry till golden .

Add the cooked mutton and mix well.

Adjust salt as needed

Stir and cook till excess water evaporates. Keep the consistency as you want , either dry or semi gravy .

Garnish with coriander leaves and off the flame .

Serve as a side dish with rice or Indian bread .
