HEALTHY MORINGA LEAVES CHUTNEY PODI RECIPE/ MURUNGAI KEERAI PODI

INGREDIENTS
- Fresh moringa leaves – 3 or 4 cups tightly packed
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Jeera – 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 20
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Coriander seeds – ¼ cup
- Curry leaves – 6 or 7 sprigs
- Tamarind – lemon size
- Groundnuts – ¼ cup
- Coriander leaves with stems – ¼ cup
- Dried red chillies – 3 or 4 or as per taste
- Urad dal – 2 tbsp
- Chana dal – 2 tbsp
- Turmeric – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
METHOD
Clean Moringa leaves and remove the stalks completely. Make sure there are no stems/stalks. Wash and pat dry Moringa leaveS making sure there is no moisture.
Heat oil and add all ingredients one by one as shown in video and roast it .
Allow to cool and grind into coarse powder .
Store in air tight container and use as required.
For longer shelf life, keep refrigerated. Serve with rice , idli, dosa or any South Indian breakfast with a dollop of ghee or sesame oil.
