Healthy ripe papaya salad recipe

PAPAYA SALAD

INGREDIENTS

  • Ripe and firm papaya  – 3  cup
  • Green capsicum thinly sliced – ½  cup
  • Chopped onion –  ½  cup
  • Finely chopped  mint leaves – 2 tbsp
  • Very finely minced garlic – 1 tsp [optional ]
  • Olive oil – 2  tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 2 tsp or as per taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper pwdr – ½  tsp
  • Chaat masala – ½  tsp
  • Chilli flakes – ¼  tsp
  • Honey – 2 tsp
  • Chopped dry fruits and seeds – ¼ cup
  • Crumbled paneer – ¼ or ½ cup

PREPARATION

Peel and chop the papaya into big cubes .[don’t use over ripe papaya ,the flesh has to be firm ]

METHOD

In a mixing bowl take olive oil + lemon juice + salt + pepper pwdr + chilli flakes + chaat masala + honey + mint leaves and mix well .

Dressing for the salad is ready .Taste and adjust ingredients .

Now add the capsicum + onions + papaya and mix well gently .

Add the dry fruits and paneer .

Cover and refrigerate the salad for some time .

Healthy papaya  salad is ready to serve .
