PASTA SALAD RECIPE

PASTA SALAD

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 1/4 cup any pasta ( farfale, pene, macaroni,etc. Or you can mix 2-3 varities of them)
  • 1/4 cup Pomegranate
  • 3 – 4 tbsp salted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup capsicum fine chopped (you can add red+ yellow bell peppers too)
  • 4 tbsp tomato deseeded and fine chopped

FOR DRESSING 

  • 1/4 tsp carrom seeds / ajwain
  • 3-4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2-3 tbsp onions chopped
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1-2 tsp sugar
  • Salt

METHOD 

Grind all dressing ingredients to a smooth creamy paste. Keep it aside.

Boil 4 – 5 cups of water.  Add salt and 1 tsp oil.

Add pasta to boiling water and cook till done.

Pasta should not be over cooked.

Drain the extra water from pasta.

Let them cool completely

Add rest of the ingredients and dressing and give a nice stir.

Keep it covered for half an hour so all flavours are merged with pasta.

NOTE –

  1. You can also add boiled corn kernels.
  2. You can add veggies or nuts of ur choice.
