CHOLE TIKKI RECIPE  / CHOLE CUTLET BURGER RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cup soaked and boiled chole
  • 3 or 4 tsp  ginger garlic green chilli paste
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli flakes
  • 2 or 3 tbsp Gram flour / besan
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow fry

METHOD

Grind boiled chole into a smooth mixture and transfer to a bowl.

Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli, garam masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder, gram flour , lemon juice , coriander leaves , salt and mix well.

Divide the mixture into equal portions .  Roll each portion into tikki – shaped flattened balls.

Heat oil in a deep pan, shallow fry the tiki from both the sides.

Till nice golden and crisp from all over the sides and properly cooked.

Serve hot chole tikki with green chutney / sauce / dip or use it as a burger tikki .

NOTE – Adjust masalas as per taste.
