MAHARASHTRIAN STYLE CHIVAL CHA ZUNKA RECIPE / CHIWALI CHA ZUNKA / CHIUCHYA BHAJICHA ZUNKA

INGREDIENTS
- Chival bhaji – 1 cup cleaned
- Oil – 2 or 3 tbsp
- Jeera – ½ tsp
- Garlic – 1 tbsp
- Onion finely chopped – 1 big
- Turmeric – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli pwdr – 1 tsp or as per taste
- Besan – ½ cup
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnish
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan and crackle the jeera .
Add garlic and stir fry till light pink .
Add onions and fry till translucent .
Add the leaves and give a mix.
Add red chilli pwdr + turmeric pwdr + salt and mix well.
Add besan and give a nice mix .
Cover with a plate filled with water and cook on lowest flame for 6 to 7 mins till done .
Stir in between .
Off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with bhakri or any roti
