OVERNIGHT ORANGE OATS

ORANGE OVERNIGHT OATS

INGREDIENTS

  • Oats – ½ cup [ I have used quaker ]
  • Milk – ½ cup [ regular milk or plant based ]
  • Fresh curd / yoghurt  OR milk – ¼  
  • Any sweetener as per taste – 1 tbsp [ maple / honey / dates etc ]
  • Chia seed – 2 tsp
  • Cardamom pwdr – a pinch or orange zest for flavour
  • Cinnamon pwdr – ¼ tsp [ optional ]
  • Orange segments – ½ cup
  • Fresh fruits/ dry fruits/ seeds /berries – for toppings

PREPARATION

  1. Take oats + chia seeds + milk + curd + syrup + orange zest /cardamom pwdr + cinnamon pwdr in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Keep aside for 10 mins.
  3. Again mix well , cover and refrigerate for few hrs or overnight .

METHOD

 In the morning , remove and mix well .

Add milk / curd  as required to adjust the consistency .

Mix in the orange segments .

Once done top it with any toppings and serve chilled .
