INGREDIENTS

  • Grated beetroot – 1
  • Grated amla – 10
  • black salt – 1 tsp
  • sugar – 1/2 cup
  • ginger grated – 2 tsp

METHOD

Wash the Amlas and beetroot.

Pat dry them .

Grate them with grater.

Mix grated amla and beetroot .

Add sugar and keep aside for 2 days in the house.

After 2 days, add 2 tsp grated ginger and black salt and mix,

Squeeze out the excess syrup ,

Spread on a big flat plate.

Keep it under  sunlight for 1 day till it dries completely and becomes crisp .

It can be stored in air tight container and can be used for a long time.

After a meal, take approximately 1/4 teaspoon of mukhwas in your hand and put in your mouth. Chew completely until the seeds break down, they will sort of disappear over 30 seconds or so.
