EASY AND SIMPLE BONELESS CHICKEN RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
- Boneless chicken – 500 grms
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 2 or 3 tbsp or as needed
- Onion finely chopped – 1 big
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Tomato finely chopped – 2 big
- Red chilli pwdr – 1 ½ or 2 tsp or as needed
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp + ¼ tsp
- Chaat masala – ½ tsp
- Garam masala pwdr – ¾ tsp
- Coriander pwdr – 2 tsp
- Roasted jeera pwdtr – ½ tsp
- Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
- Kasoori methi or finely chopped coriander leaves – 1 or 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
METHOD
Clean , wash and cut chicken boneless into small pieces .Marinate with ¼ tsp turmeric + little salt + 1 tbsp lemon juice and keep aside for 10 to 15 mins.
Heat oil in pan on medium heat.
Add the onions and sauté until they start to turn golden.
Add ginger and garlic , stir and fry till raw smell leaves.
Add the tomatoes + salt and mix well.
Cover and cook for 2 to 3 mins till the tomatoes soften and oil separates .
Add the masala powders and cook for few seconds .
Add the chicken and mix well .
Stir and cook on high flame for 1 or 2 mins till the chicken has turned white .
Add ½ or ¾ cup water and mix well.
Cover and cook on medium flame for 18 to 20 till the chicken is cooked .Stir in between .
NOTE – Cooking time depends on the size of the chicken pieces .Don’t overcook the chicken .
Once done , open and give a nice mix.
Finally add the kasoori methi and give a mix.
Off the flame .
Serve with lemon and onion slices .
Goes well with any Indian breads .
